It’s hard to remember our personal power, especially when life gets away from us with our day to day tasks. We’ve all experienced the time jump of, “didn’t I just wake up and now it’s time to go to bed, what happened?” So to help you stay in touch with your ‘Significance’ here’s a simple exercise that takes less than 2 minutes a day…
Here’s what I want you to do…
For the NEXT 5 Days ONLY…
Put a piece of paper and a pen on your bedside table, something small, even a post-it will do. Now, right before you go to sleep I want you to take a minute (that’s right just 1 minute) and write down one way you either expressed your personal significance OR one way you felt your personal experience. If you can’t think of 1 moment in either of those 2 categories, then write down 1 way you COULD express or feel your personal significance and keep it small, here – we’re looking for what I call kernels of information, not the whole kitchen sink.
Okay, here’s the GREAT part…
When you wake up, the first moment you open your eyes, I want you to pick up that paper and read what you wrote down (here’s your 2nd minute of the exercise). This will accomplish 2 things…
It will remind you about the brilliance of YOU – AND it will set you on the path for MORE of that amazing feeling of significance in the day ahead.
